Product Compliance
Successful exporting or importing relies on providing competitive products that conform to international standards and regulations, accompanied by the proof of conformity.
Products have to meet local regulatory requirements that allow them to be sold. They must also meet local industry and market standards or customers will not buy them.
Often product approval/ certification is conditional on having a quality management system in place to demonstrate continuing compliance.
We can support you on product testing and certification and implement systems to meet ISO management standards.
Authorised Representative
The regulation EU/2019/1020 requires manufacturers from non-EU countries to appoint an authorised representative within the EU to ensure the traceability of product “safety” during circulation and use after the product is placed on the EU market. Technical documents must be maintained in the European representative for 10 years for inspection by EU local authorities at any time.
The regulations require that all products that fall under CE scope must be marked with company name and address of the European generation while the CE mark is required on the packaging.

BattG
The German Batteries Act, or Batteries Act 2 (BattG2 for short) - applies in Germany since January 2021.
The new version of the German implementation of the European Batteries Directive 2006/66/EG contains important changes that every dealer in electrical appliances / electronic equipment / electrical products containing batteries and/or accumulators should do battery registration and report to EAR.

VerpackG
If you sell products in packaging or offer packaging on the European market as a manufacturer, distributor, importer or online retailer, then your business model is governed by the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive (Directive 94/62/EC) and you are subject to the individual laws that apply in the respective countries concerning manufacturing and trading.
We support you in selling your products legally compliant.
Cosmetic Notification
Before placing products on the EU/UK market, they must be notified in the EU/UK Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP/SCPN). This is the duty of the Responsible Person. Notifications are valid for all EU and EEA countries.
We will ensure that all mandatory notification data is correctly and timely submitted for your products, is maintained and timely adjusted (e.g. in case of product updates such as reformulation or label updates).
